Company of Heroes 1, 2
Release date: 2006 year
This is a strategy about World War II. The gameplay of the Company of Heroes is very similar to Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War. The player commands whole units of fighters. Each unit has a scale of lives (not a separate fighter) and if this life ends, the entire unit dies. The player can have various weapons, choosing which weapons are more promising for this or that battle. After the death of the detachment, the weapon that remained can be taken. Each side in the game is divided into three unique areas — infantry, landing and tank (for Americans) and defensive, offensive and propaganda (for Germans). The units in the game have three levels of experience. After destroying the enemy, the player comes to a new level.
The game has three types of resources: weapons, fuel and personnel. The personnel (people) are used for constructing buildings and hiring new combat units.
There are many other similar strategies that can interest a gamer who loves this genre. Try also to play XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Homeworld, Stronghold or Ground Control 1, 2. They also resemble Centurion and Civilization.
